i have enough money for one or the other what do you think is best!!

Let me know what one and why please, i have a phone and an i pod, and a PC so it does not effect me too much wich one i pick but.....

I recently got the iPhone 3G and I'm amazed by how much it can do. It's the ultimate experience for cell phones. However, compared to a laptop (it really depends on what laptop...) and not knowing how much of an upgrade everything would be, I'd stick with the mobility of a laptop, as you already have a phone and iPod.

iPhones have very costly service plans. However, since you've already got a PC might as well go for the ultimate mobility. The iPhone is great, but even with 3G stuff like Internet browsing and Youtube videos is still slow...

Go for a laptop, they have infinitely more choice in software, and they're much easier to use (and easier to identify if stolen). That, and they have infinitely more power than an iPhone.

I would go for the laptop. It can do so much more than a small little gadget and in the end it is way cheaper. An iPhone may seem to begin with but it can add up...
