So what do we know about the Microconsole,

- it's small (so also portable)
- inexpensive or free with service package
- Connectivity - 1 x hdmi, 2 x usb, 1 x micro usb, 1 x RJ45, 1 x Optical, bluetooth, (wifi?)
- Output up to 720p

I wonder if they'll licence the hardware out so it can be built in to other products?

From the looks of the image, it's pretty small. I like the idea of it being portable, and so compact. I remember the countless large super clunky machines that I've purchased over the years. I thought the Wii was small, this new device brings gaming to a new level of portability. (I guess you don't need a huge devices bloated with hardware gizmo's when everything is steamed via the internet).

From what I`ve read, the microconsole is as small as a deck of cards. You need USB connectors and a network jack (I think some AV outs, too). You can plug it to your PC and any TV, and you are ready to start.

By looking to the picture, it is quite small compared to all the consoles...

It looks quite excellent. Since it's primary purpose is to stream data, of course it will be a small product. I'm kinda iffy on that controller though, looks like an xBox controller to be honest, and I'd rather not have to fork out cash for countless controllers.

Think there will be a peripheral that allows you to use any controller on the microconsole?
