I'm guessing it's going to have a lot to do with 2 things.
Firstly how it works, the US launch is going to play a big part in it and secondly if it is a success then I would see it being a relitivly fast roll out to countries that have the networks in place to be able to offer this to the masses.
With the rate of growth in the connection speeds throught europe, us and many other places in the world I'm sure onlive may have timed this perfectly!

that baby cost me £115 ($190) about 13 years ago! I've now got ADSL2 with a good 15mb down & 1.3mb up now. but getting tempted by the 50mb offerings from uk cable companies the only problems they aren't that reliable and they traffic shape!
